This book contains the biblical texts that Calasanz quotes in his Constitutions, Memorials and Letters. It is clear that Calasanz was alluding to small phrases from the Bible. Calasanz takes the Word of God as spoken to Him, because it touches his heart, affects him, and tries to discover the human behavior that God himself gives him for life.
Its author, Father Padilla, intends to let the Word of God and the Word of Calasanz speak so that they are the ones that touch our hearts. If we stop to read the Word we will experience the good that it brings us.
