This book, written on the occasion of the Beatification of Fr. Faustino in 1998, brings us closer to the figure of this great Piarist, who deeply loved the Pious Schools, his Piarist vocation. He feels, as a man of the people and for the people, devoted to their teaching. This book presents his life, the embers of his love, as a response to God in the different realities of need that he found in his journey towards God. The book also includes some lines of his spiritual journey, shaping him as the man to whom God’s love transformed into a simple instrument in his hands at the service of small, the poor and the marginalized of society. One man all of God, God’s only and always of God, whose path was Jesus. Following in his footsteps, became a true «disciple of the Divine Master».
